Waldo + lack of knowledge = a victory for Big Lee

I am relieved that it is finally over. Unfortunately, many harsh things were said and much time was spent at the computer typing the most sarcastic and witty things we could think of. But it is finally over and I am glad. I decided to jump on the bandwagon of "Blog Math" (if you notice the title). That pretty much sums up the war right there. You can go through the comments on both Big Lee's Blog and Waldo Files to see what was said back and forth. It will surely go down in history as one of the most brutal blog wars in the history of blogging. It ended with a crushing blow by Big Lee that Waldo has no possible comeback to, hence, the ticker tape parade to celebrate peace. No hard feelings Waldo.

You can't say I have no come back unless you give me a chance. This was such a victory for me. You say that you have "an arguement with no possible comeback" while you have still NEVER addressed more than half of what I said!

And I do have a comeback-while reading about it and reading excerps might not be quite the same as reading it, which I have expressed desire to do, it's much better than what you have done for the other side. You haven't even read excerps! You've read nothing. And you were never able to argue it. While you asked me not to call you a hypacrit, you never proved you weren't one, which is something I was very able to do. (Another thing you never responded to.) From all the non-response, I have come to the conclusion you never even read my arguements at all. Yet another thing you haven't read.

You know you lost. Otherwise you never would have made this post. Oh well, I'll make one of my own just so everyone knows. Good thing no one goes to your blog anyway.

Waldo-about maybe 30 facts
Booby M-ZERO

What a score! Well, that fact should clear up the rest. What a victory, what a victory.

And the title? Lack of knowledge? Yet more hypacrisy! More, more, more!

Score on knowledge?

Waldo-read excerps from Code, saw clips from movie, read articles on it all, read books about fact and fiction in the book, read all of Booby's lame comments, read more i can't remember.

Booby-Read a fiction book and thought it was true.

And maybe more?

Booby-Thought man didn't land on the moon and Tupac is still alive.

And as for further proof, (facts), we can always compare report cards!

I WIN! LET THE FIREWORKS LIGHT UP THE SKY!

Oh, I see. And I suppose you're not a rude person? You, who would insult 2 billion people at once for no reason? Wow, I guess the right side of the bed was against the wall! (haha...not funny.) No hard feelings old bean, I forgive you too. Not the only person who's been duped by Dan Brown. You just asked me if I was insulting John Kerry and Dan Rather, and I answered, no, it was you, which is the truth.

Wow! Cool down a bit. A tad more hypacrisy? You tell me not to come up with a "rude comeback" after a polite comment. Then you go ahead and do it yourself.

Oh, and you did address Opus Dei and Dead Sea Scrolls when you said none of my facts were real. I guess you just didn't read the comment and don't understand. Shame.

Booby, I don't think you understand things unless you try to see them black-and-white. I don't have a problem when people read a work of fiction as a work of fiction. I get angry when people use this as propaganda against the church and believe what it says. Plus, you do want me to read it, don't you? Otherwise, what else are you trying to accomplish here? And the facts fit in perfectly. My arguement is that The Da Vinci Code should be interperated as fiction, and if it isn't, it's persecution and I have every right to be offended. The facts are to prove that there is nothing in the book that is at all factual, and readers have the responsibility to sort the fiction out. It's to prove that it's only fiction and can't be used as an attack against what I believe.

? The pope never authorized any statements about the Da Vinci Code, so whatever that Cardinal said, it was just opinion and not related to the job. Definitely not forbiding others to see it.

The whole "Booby" thing started when I made a mis-type, and then I guess it just stuck.

I can't see any slang terms from "Waldo" myself, so I salute your creativity.

Again I salute your creativity. Maybe you could beat me in Waldo Slang terms, but not in The Da Vinci Code.

I already expressed to you my thoughts about the anti-Code Cardinal. If you plan to keep asking me the same things over and over again, don't bother writing back.

Yeah, even if I do read it, we can't have a good debate. You never read or saw anything from the other side! I at least read excepts. You read nothing. Pure hypacrisy, of course.

You also must not forget the part that it isn't good art. It got terrible reviews, despite ALL the buzz. It was a bad movie. And offensive or not, bad movies are bad movies.

Maybe I'll see it after it comes out on DVD, but I don't really want to pay for it.

I noticed you still haven't said anything about how you haven't read anything from the other side.

When you rent a DVD, 100% of the money goes to the rental store. They pay for a copy, then can do anything they like with it. Since they have a copy anyway, it wouldn't be like going to the theaters and wastinbg so much for a bad cause.

And you should see what I mean about the other side. In a debate about anything, there must be two sides, and if you don't aknowledge my opinion or the opinion of others, you have already lost. There's lots of books, articles, and TV specials about fiction in the book. Read up.
